If deemed safe, they are combined into our energy storage systems using cutting-edge battery intelligence. Second life battery systems have to uphold the same strict safety and quality norms as any new-build system would have. As a user, you won’t be able to tell the difference.
The batteries in our containers are sourced directly from electric vehicle manufacterers. After completing their commercial lifetime in a car, battery capacity has only degraded to a minimum of 80%. No longer enough for range oriented car standards, but not for long at the end of their technical life span. They find a meaningfull second life in our systems, avoiding premature recycling and the associated environmental costs.

All our systems feature a remote monitoring and control system. The unique software layer integrated into every Accu’t battery enables detailed reporting on local energy data and battery performance. It also provides remote control options, facilitating state-of-charge commands and operational mode adjustments. In the rare event of a necessary alert, the system proactively triggers remote troubleshooting through our 24/7 support center.
